The ideal candidate is a friendly, punctual, dependable, professional, hard working, patient oriented individual who is a team player and can multitask.Candidates who are proactive, have great customer service, and can take initiative are strongly preferred.Bookkeeping Handle all aspects of accounts payable:route payables through approval process, enter approved payables, process checks, and mail accordingly Handle most aspects of accounts receivable:invoice for and record receivables and pledges Handle some aspects of general ledger:post recurring entries and reconcile various accounts Allocate expenses across related entities Prepare daily bank deposits and weekly check runs Record various investment account activity Monthly balancing and reconciling of cash, A/R, A/P and G/L work using industry specific software program Maintain historical records by filing documents Assist in monitoring budget on a monthly basis Assist in annual audit Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed Administrative Answer telephones and direct calls accordingly and appropriately Check and respond to or forward all general voicemails and emails Coordinate office mail and shipments Organize and order inventory and records as needed Provide support as needed with planned meetings and functions Draft correspondence as requested Supply ordering and data storage Experience & Skills:1-3 years of bookkeeping experience required Must be able to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Strong organizational skills Proficiency in Sage 100 or QuickBooks Microsoft Office required Bilingual English & Spanish (A plus) Job Type:Full-time Pay:$45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year Benefits:Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vacation /Holidays Schedule:Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm Job Type:Full-time Pay:$45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Benefits:Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Paid training Education:Associate (Preferred) Experience:Bookkeeping:1 year (Preferred) Work Location:In person.
