Duties Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities using accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.Process payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Perform bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.Record journal entries, handle accounts payable and receivable, and ensure proper general ledger accounting following GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).Conduct account analysis, prepare financial reports, and assist with budgeting efforts.Maintain detailed records of financial transactions including debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, and general ledger entries.Support governmental accounting requirements and tax-related processes as needed.Requirements Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms.Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles including GAAP and governmental accounting standards.Experience with payroll processing and tax compliance is essential.Knowledge of bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, journal entries, and general ledger management.Familiarity with financial concepts such as double entry bookkeeping, account analysis, budgeting, and financial report writing.Ability to perform 10 key typing with high accuracy for data entry tasks.Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in account reconciliation and financial record keeping.Prior experience in public accounting or non-profit accounting is a plus.Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to excellence in financial management!
