Position Summary: The Booking -AP/AR Specialist will work directly with the Controller and assist with the day-to-day accounting operation tasks.The Booking - AP/AR Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of the Company's invoices to include coding, processing and research.In addition, the position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS To accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Essential Functions Statement(s): AP Invoice processing- research and entry daily Resolve invoice discrepancies Ensure integrity of outgoing payments Work to resolve vendor issues promptly and courteously Request W9s and other documentation to ensure authorized payments Weekly receipt entry and reconciliation Assist with Payroll Journal Entries as directed by Controller Assist with Warranty Journal Entries as directed by Controller Daily collecting of Virtual bills (APS, Cox, Verizon, etc.) Daily categorization of QuickBooks Online transactions Monthly QuickBooks Online account reconciliation AR Monitor customer accounts to ensure payments are up to date Deposit, receive and record all cash, checks, credit card and ACH payments daily Create customer invoices as directed Other Responsibilities Communication with internal and external customers Provide support to other groups within as needed Maintains digital financial security by following internal accounting controls Review and follow company processes and procedures as directed Record Management Other duties as requested/assigned Responsible for assigned Controller duties during any potential absence POSITIION QUALIFICATIONS Competency Statement(s) Communication, Oral - Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word Communication, Written - Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely Analytical Skills - Ability to observe, evaluate how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes Problem Solving - Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems Time Management - Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines Self-Motivated - Ability to be internally inspired to perform a task to the best of one's ability using his or her own drive or initiative Adaptability - Ability to adjust to changing work requirements and respond to new situations or ideas Dependable, punctual and collaborative SKILLS AND ABILITIES Education & Certifications: High School diploma or equivalent, bachelor's in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred QuickBooks Pro Online Advisor a plus Experience: 3years of Bookkeeping or similar experience Solar and/or construction experience a plus Computer Skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project), QB Other Requirements Ability to work a variety of hours, including occasional evening and weekends WORK ENVIRONMENT The employee can expect to work in a standard office environment Job Type:Full-time Pay:$45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Experience: Microsoft Excel:1 year (Preferred) AR/AP:1 year (Required) Booking:3 years (Required) Ability to Relocate: Scottsdale, AZ 85260:Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location:In person.
