Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Bilingual Bookkeeper Assistant, preferably fluent in both Spanish and English to support our accounting team.This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with bookkeeping tasks, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of QuickBooks, with the ability to work efficiently.This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a corporate, legal environment.Duties Assist with general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account analysis, and account reconciliation Manage accounts payable, invoice processing and payment tracking Enter data accurately using 10 key typing skills and ensure proper double entry bookkeeping practices Utilize various software such as QuickBooks Online, Filevine, Trinet, and the Google Suite Maintain organized records of financial documents in accordance with GAAP Assist in month-end closing procedures and ensure all entries are correctly posted to the general ledger Support internal audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial activities Assist the accounting department with clerical tasks, including document scanning and upkeep of accurate electronic and hard-copy files.This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion Process vendor invoices while detecting and resolving discrepancies and duplicate entries.Contact vendors to obtain additional information or to dispute discrepancies Communicate with internal and external personnel in a professional and timely manner Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in QuickBooks Online Strong understanding of GAAP, double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, debits & credits, and general ledger reconciliation Knowledge of financial concepts such as account analysis, bank reconciliation, and account reconciliation Ability to perform detailed account analysis and prepare accurate financial reports Familiarity with accounts payable/receivable management Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently Basic technical skills including 10 key typing for data entry accuracy This position is ideal for candidates who are passionate about finance and accounting principles while supporting communication within our organization.Benefits:401(k) Medical, Dental, Vision, Chiro, Acupuncture Paid Time Off Paid Sick Leave Paid Training Parking Stipend Dress Code Stipend(One-Time) Parking Reimbursement First Friday Lunches Snacks Provided Monthly Office Events Public Transportation Assistance Program Job Type:Full-time Pay:$23.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours:40 per week Benefits:401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Paid training Vision insurance Application Question(s):Are you willing to complete a background check?
