About the Opportunity A mission-driven organization in the Greater Philadelphia area is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their finance team. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting reporting processes, and ensuring smooth day-to-day accounting operations. Key Responsibilities Financial Record-keeping Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records Record daily financial transactions, including income and expenses Perform regular reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts Accounts Payable & Receivable Process invoices and ensure timely, accurate payments Manage invoicing and track incoming payments Follow up on outstanding balances as needed Reporting & Budget Support Assist in preparing monthly financial reports (income statements, balance sheets) Track expenses to support budgeting and forecasting efforts Support audit preparation and year-end reporting processes Data Entry & Documentation Accurately enter financial data into accounting systems Maintain organized financial records and documentation Compliance & Process Support Ensure adherence to internal policies and financial regulations Assist with documentation for audits, grants, and reporting requirements Collaboration Partner with internal teams to support financial operations Assist with ad hoc finance projects and administrative tasks as needed Why This Role?
