Bookkeeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to lead and support our accounting team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation. Requirements · Must be a positive person with the ability to coach others. Proven experience (3 years+) with accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms. Efficiently perform bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliation. Excellent attention to detail with proficiency in 10 key typing for data entry accuracy. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Responsibilities and Duties Prepare financial information and statements for our CPA to ensure efficient quarterly and year end audits. Handle daily banking activities: Includes making bank deposits to local branch. Complete and file GET returns. Monitor and analyze department work to improve efficiency in procedures Assist our HR services with Payroll Processing. Address and resolve accounting team issues as needed. Inter-departmental support when needed. Ensures the accounting team completes work in timely and accurate manner by filling in and assisting with payable or receivable clerk duty when necessary.Pacific Jobbers Warehouse is a local, 100% employee-owned auto parts wholesale distributor.
