In this energetic role, you'll be the first line of defense in ensuring a safe, secure, and enjoyable environment for all patrons and staff.Your proactive presence will help maintain order, prevent disturbances, and support the smooth operation of our lively venue.This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine security expertise with customer service in a fast-paced setting.Duties Enforce venue policies by checking IDs, managing entry, and controlling access to ensure safety and compliance.Monitor the premises using CCTV surveillance systems to identify potential issues or suspicious activity.Respond promptly and effectively to conflicts or disturbances, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations.Conduct regular patrols of the venue's interior and exterior areas to maintain security standards.Assist with loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting incidents accurately.Provide first aid or CPR when necessary, supporting health emergencies with confidence and professionalism.Support barbacks by restocking supplies, cleaning work areas, and ensuring the bar operates smoothly during busy hours.Qualifications Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.Certifications in first aid, CPR, CCTV operation, conflict management, or loss prevention are a plus.Knowledge of surveillance technology and CCTV systems to monitor activity effectively.Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.Physical fitness to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods; ability to respond quickly when needed.Excellent communication skills with a friendly yet authoritative demeanor.Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.Join us in creating a safe and lively environment where everyone can enjoy themselves!
