Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Box Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely across various routes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks. As a key player in our logistics operations, you will ensure timely deliveries, load and unload cargo, and maintain excellent customer service standards. Your expertise in commercial driving and route management will help keep our operations running smoothly while providing a vital service to our clients. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Load and unload freight with precision, ensuring cargo integrity and safety during transit. Drive assigned routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns. Manage documentation related to deliveries, including logs, delivery receipts, and route sheets. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate delivery schedules and address any route changes or issues. Assist with securing loads using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary for safe handling. Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers or box trucks. Knowledge of manual transmission operation for various truck types. Familiarity with driving refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Strong ability to load & unload freight efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Excellent route planning skills to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency. Ability to operate forklifts or other loading equipment when required. Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with relevant endorsements; experience in driving tanker or refrigerated units is a plus.
