Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Box Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating box trucks to deliver goods efficiently across designated routes. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure timely deliveries, proper load handling, and excellent customer service. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks with manual transmissions, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, ensuring cargo integrity. Drive assigned routes efficiently while maintaining accurate delivery schedules. Inspect vehicles daily for safety issues, including checking refrigeration units if applicable, and report any maintenance needs promptly. Secure freight properly for transport, including flatbed or tanker loads when necessary. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that arise during route driving. Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle inspections in compliance with company policies. Experience Proven experience as a commercial delivery driver or truck driver, preferably with delivery driver experience involving freight handling. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record;. Familiarity with operating manual transmission trucks looking for someone who is very familiar with 26 foot box trucks operating at daily checking fluids check in to make sure that everything on the truck is running the weight supposed to. Ability to load and unload freight efficiently using equipment like forklifts or other lifting devices. Knowledge of route planning and navigation for efficient delivery scheduling. Time management is very critical in this role meeting deadlines picking up and dropping off freight. Please read carefully. This is an OTR position you will be on the road for at least 2 to 3 weeks out of the month. Please do not apply for this position if you do not want to be over the road for extended periods of time.
