Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Branch Manager to lead our retail team and oversee daily operations within our store. Responsibilities Lead and supervise all store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and staff scheduling to ensure smooth daily functioning. Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to build a high-performing retail staff capable of delivering outstanding customer experiences. Manage payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to maintain accurate financial records. Oversee inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities and minimize stock discrepancies. Implement marketing initiatives and promotional activities to attract new customers and retain existing clients. Monitor sales performance through retail math and sales management techniques; set targets and motivate staff to achieve them. Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and store procedures while fostering a positive work environment through effective communication skills. Qualifications Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervisory or assistant manager experience preferred. Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, training & development, and leadership. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Proficiency in managing payroll, bookkeeping, inventory management systems (including POS), and cash handling procedures. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting; experience with retail math and budgeting is advantageous. Demonstrated success in supervising teams, managing store operations, merchandising, stocking, pricing strategies, and marketing efforts. Exceptional communication skills along with phone etiquette; capable of fostering teamwork through effective training & development initiatives. Knowledge of wireless sales or related product categories is a plus; familiarity with retail sales techniques such as cashiering and customer service excellence is essential.
