Overview Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for retail management and team development? We are seeking an energetic and motivated Branch Manager to oversee daily operations, drive sales, and foster a positive customer experience. In this pivotal role, you will lead a diverse team, manage store functions, and ensure the achievement of business goals. Duties Lead and supervise all store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and staff scheduling. Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees while providing ongoing training and development to enhance team performance. Manage payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Oversee inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, merchandising, stocking, and store presentation to maximize sales opportunities. Develop and implement marketing initiatives to attract customers and increase store visibility within the community. Monitor sales performance metrics, manage budgets, and execute strategic plans to meet or exceed sales targets. Foster a positive work environment by promoting effective communication skills, leadership qualities, and employee orientation practices. Qualifications Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervising responsibilities. Strong skills in negotiation, customer service, retail math, and retail sales techniques. Demonstrated ability in employee orientation, training & development, and team management. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Experience with payroll processing, bookkeeping, inventory management systems (POS), and cash handling procedures. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of marketing strategies, merchandising principles, pricing tactics, and store operations management. Effective communication skills coupled with phone etiquette and leadership qualities to motivate staff.
