Responsibilities Lead and motivate a diverse team to achieve sales targets, deliver exceptional customer service, and uphold company standards. Oversee all store operations including cash handling, POS transactions, merchandising, and inventory control to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Manage employee recruitment, onboarding, training & development, scheduling, and performance evaluations to build a high-performing team. Implement effective marketing strategies and promotional activities to increase foot traffic and sales. Maintain accurate bookkeeping, payroll processing, budgeting, and store financial reporting to meet operational goals. Supervise stock management, purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and inventory management to optimize store profitability. Ensure compliance with safety policies, store policies, and legal regulations while fostering a safe shopping environment. Requirements Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervisory responsibilities. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases. Demonstrated expertise in retail math, sales management, merchandising, and inventory control. Experience with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and cash handling protocols. Skilled in employee orientation, interviewing, training & development to cultivate team growth. Knowledge of budgeting, purchasing, marketing strategies, and store operations management. Ability to lead by example with strong leadership qualities and a customer-focused attitude.
