Position Summary Guide and manage the branch office in providing quality service to members in account transactions, loan applications, and new accounts.Solve problems within established policies and guidelines.Essential Functions 1.Maintain a highly motivated, well-trained staff, maintaining effective employee relations.2.Apply and evaluate policies and procedures for the branch.Ensure that the branch is in compliance with federal laws and regulations set forth by the National Credit Union Administration and other regulatory agencies.3.Recruit and select quality applicants for vacancies, ensuring that the credit union is adequately staffed with competent employees.4.Evaluate the job performance of branch office staff to ensure quality of work and service to members.Recommend salary increases.5.Monitor branch activity, including number of transactions, volume, teller errors, loan volume, teller, loan, and new account Value Creation.6.Manage and monitor cash at the branch to ensure adequate supply to conduct business without holding excess on-site.7.Monitor, replenish, and reconcile ATM and Recycler Cash.8.Monitor key products and value creation within the branch to ensure profitable and sound business practices and a high quality of service for members.9.Manage the security and safety of the branch.Analyze and monitor security and safety policies and procedures on an on-going basis.10.Ensure that staff receive ongoing training on security and robbery procedures.11.Schedule adequate staff to ensure efficient branch operations.12.Conduct loan interviews.Process, approve, and/or close loans.13.Open New Accounts.14.Monitor branch operations to ensure a consistent, professional approach.15.Assist staff or members in solving complex account problems.16.Create and maintain a Value Creation environment within the branch.Train employees to maximize opportunities.17.Communicate often with management on needs, issues, and operations of the branch.18.Attend community events and establish volunteer opportunities to promote branch awareness and drive business to branch location.19.Maintain predictable attendance by consistently showing up on time to ensure work commitments are consistently met.20.This position is not eligible for Telework.Join our team as a Branch Manager where you can make an impact through effective leadership, strategic planning, and commitment to excellence!
