Job description KC Deli Provisions, Inc.is looking for outgoing individuals who enjoy food and fun! Consumer Facing Activities Ambassadors are needed in the Manhattan, Junction City, and Salina area.This position requires strong oral and written communication skills, someone who will always conduct themselves in a professional, independent and responsible manner, as well as enthusiasm about selling Boar's Head Premium Delicatessen Meats and Cheeses.Professional and neat appearance is a must! Training will be provided, but one needs to take the initiative to gain adequate knowledge of the products, and use that knowledge to help build sales.Your primary role is to share your passion about the products you are representing, create excitement, and interest the consumer in purchasing the product.Schedule is flexible, we are looking to fill shifts on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.You can work as little as one day per month, or as much as 3-4 days per week!.Consumer Facing Activities Ambassador Responsibilities:others may be assigned Promote and Protect the brand Ability to prepare and serve samples using small appliances and kitchen utensils, such as a skillet and a knife.Need to be comfortable in a food service atmosphere.Maintain a clean, safe and food safe work area.Maintain a professional, clean appearance.Properly set up event table for execution in a timely mannerCreate excitement in the deli through demos, selling events, announcements, contests, etc.Create excitement in the deli through culinary events, sampling events, announcements, contests, ext.Familiarize yourself with the products, taste, flavor profile, features and benefits, Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the brand.Build and maintain rapport with deli and store personnel to effectively meet KC Deli Provisions and customer objectives.Qualifications:The ideal candidate would be energetic and upbeat.They should be good with people, have an eye for detail and a strong work ethic.They must have dependable transportation, be able to stand for 6 hours and be able to lift and or move up to 40lbs.Culinary experience preferred If you are interested in joining our dynamic team submit your resume to this ad Our Company does not discriminate in practices or employment opportunities on the basis of an individual's race, color, national or ethnic origin, religion, age, sex, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, veteran status, disability, or any other proscribed category set forth in federal or state regulations.Job Type:Part-time Pay:$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits:Flexible schedule Experience:Brand Ambassadors & Demonstrators:1 year (Preferred) Food service:1 year (Preferred) License/Certification:Driver's License (Required) Work Location:In person.
