Job SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and experienced Bread Delivery Driver to join our team.The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely delivering bread products to various locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.This role requires excellent customer service skills, familiarity with warehouse operations, and the ability to operate commercial vehicles including box trucks and manual transmission vehicles.The Bread Delivery Driver plays a vital role in maintaining customer satisfaction and supporting efficient distribution operations.Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles such as box trucks and courier vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.Load and unload bread products using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper handling and storage.Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet scheduled delivery times.Deliver bread products to customers' locations with professionalism and courtesy, providing excellent customer service.Verify delivery accuracy by checking orders against invoices or delivery manifests.Maintain cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle, performing routine inspections and reporting any issues.Assist in warehouse activities including loading, moving inventory, and organizing stock as needed.Handle heavy lifting of bread cases or pallets safely during loading/unloading processes.Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption for reporting purposes.Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving experience involving commercial vehicles.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating driver vehicles such as box trucks or similar commercial vehicles.Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is preferred.Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients.Experience with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus; forklift certification is advantageous.Physical ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly and perform manual handling tasks safely.Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, moving inventory, and vehicle operation.Familiarity with route planning and navigation tools for efficient deliveries.Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.This position offers an essential role within our distribution team, supporting the timely delivery of high-quality bread products while providing excellent service to our customers.Job Types:Full-time, Contract Pay:$175.00 per day Benefits:Company truck Flexible schedule Fuel card Work Location:In person.
