Job Overview Join our vibrant team at the Comfort Inn Edwardsville as a Breakfast Attendant and be the first to greet guests with warmth and enthusiasm! In this lively role, you'll ensure a delightful morning experience by preparing and serving a variety of breakfast offerings, maintaining a clean and inviting dining area, and providing exceptional customer service. Your energy and attention to detail will set the tone for our guests’ day, creating memorable moments that keep them coming back. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment dedicated to excellence. Hours would generally be Monday and Tuesday from 6am to 1230pm and possibly Saturday and Sunday 6am to 12:30 pm. Background check required. Duties Prepare and serve breakfast items with precision, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met consistently Set up breakfast buffet stations, including arranging food displays, utensils, and condiments to create an appealing presentation Assist guests with food selections, answer questions about menu items, and accommodate dietary preferences or restrictions Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including clearing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and restocking supplies throughout the shift Monitor food safety protocols diligently, handling food properly and adhering to health regulations at all times Support catering or banquet events as needed by setting up breakfast stations or assisting with large group service Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and smooth service flow Requirements Prior experience in fine dining or food service environments is highly preferred Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Experience serving food in various settings such as restaurants, catering events, or banquets Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards Previous barista experience or familiarity with beverage preparation is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Hospitality background or dietary aide experience is advantageous for understanding guest needs and dietary accommodations Join us in creating exceptional breakfast experiences that energize our guests’ mornings!
