Aloft Newport on the Levee is seeking an energetic and dependable Breakfast Line Cook to join our culinary team. This position plays a key role in delivering a high-quality cook-to-order breakfast experience for hotel guests each morning. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment, takes pride in food presentation, and is passionate about providing excellent hospitality through fresh, consistent breakfast preparation. This position primarily works early morning shifts, with approximate hours of 5:00 AM – 11:00 AM, including weekends and holidays as needed. Compensation: $16 hourly Responsibilities: Prepare and cook made-to-order breakfast items according to hotel recipes and brand standards Set up and maintain breakfast line stations prior to service Ensure all breakfast items are prepared quickly, accurately, and presented professionally Prepare ingredients for daily breakfast service, including portioning and basic food prep Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations at all times Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines Monitor food quality, freshness, and inventory levels throughout service Assist with receiving and storing deliveries properly Work closely with hotel leadership to ensure a positive guest dining experience Qualifications: Previous breakfast cook or line cook experience preferred, but willing to train. Experience preparing eggs, breakfast meats, waffles, potatoes, and other breakfast items in a fast-paced environment Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen sanitation standards Ability to multitask and work efficiently during busy breakfast hours Reliable attendance and punctuality, including early morning shifts Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset About Company Founded in 2005, Rolling Hills Hospitality operates 15 hotel properties with a central focus on exceeding the expectations of its guests.
