Cellar Worker Great opportunity for entry level job in a Brewery or someone with experience.Hiring for Seasonal help April through August, but could easily turn into year-round for the right candidate.This is a 40 hour a week job with possible overtime.We all like to enjoy our summers so accommodations will be made to ensure you get time off to do so.We work as a team to produce some of the best beers in South West Montana.Pay depends on experience, with pay increases occurring as additional skills are learned.Starting pay $18-$22/hour.Health insurance available on a 50% split after 90 days, 10 days of PTO available per year, and 3% matching IRA available upon January 1st of year following employment.Room for advancement within organization.As the Cellar Man you are responsible for ensuring the general cleanliness of the production floor, the sanitation of tanks, filtering, and packaging of beer in both cans and kegs.You will be part of a team that ensures that we consistently turn out quality products.It is your responsibility to organize your day so that all tasks can be completed in the allocated time.However, it should be understood that things change and you are responsible for asking for help to ensure the completion of tasks by necessary timelines.Job Responsibilities All of the below are team responsibilities, but you will need the ability to work on your own and MUST be willing to ask for help or Clarification when needed.Ability to work in Hot, Cold, Humid and wet environments.Canning line prep:Boxes built, paktech tops stocked, date coder on correct date Following all production & packaging schedules & last minute changes when necessary. Monitoring the quality, temperature, and carbonation of our products. Follow all SOPs and safety standards Attend monthly meetings to cover upcoming production and safety practices. Report all breaches of conduct, hygiene, attitude, and failure to Owner. Identify areas of improvement and deficiencies. Follow the brewery and cellar cleaning schedule, including but not limited to:o Keg Cleaning, ensuring all keg stems are scrubbed and any defective kegs are pulled aside.o Clear hallway of empty kegs near TR cooler o Orders pulled and picked and on designated pickup days.Typically Mondays and Wednesday by 1pm.Other shipment days when needed.o Sort and store deliveries with direction from team o Fill keg reservations o Trash taken out when full, and especially on Thursday for Friday dumpster pickup.o Cardboard taken out on Monday for Tuesday dumpster pickup Ensure that dumpster is clear of pallets, etc..for trash truck.o Sweep mill room and production floor as needed Be able to communicate with other production staff and owner if/when you need assistance or if you believe you will not have time to complete your assign tasks.To Apply Drop off or email resume, AND Brief Cover letter explaining why you are passionate about beer and brewing.Physical Requirements (percentage of time spent) Standing:95% Climbing:20% Seeing:100% Hearing:80% Pushing:30% Pulling:30% Lifting:up to 165 pounds waste high & lifting up to 55 pounds over your shoulder.Carrying:up to 65 pounds.Enjoy what you do!
