Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Brick Mason to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and restoring structures using bricks, concrete blocks, stone, and other masonry materials. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of durable, aesthetically pleasing buildings and landscapes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new constructions to renovations and restorations, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship at every stage. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute masonry projects. Lay bricks, concrete blocks, stone, stucco, and other materials with precision using hand tools and power tools. Mix mortar and concrete according to project specifications and apply finishing techniques such as troweling and smoothing for a polished look. Install rebar reinforcement and perform concrete forming to ensure structural integrity. Execute various construction tasks including framing, metal stud framing, plastering, caulking, tile laying, roofing support, and trim carpentry as needed. Operate heavy equipment safely for tasks like excavation or material transport on construction sites. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure projects meet design specifications and safety standards. Requirements Proven experience in masonry work with a strong understanding of construction site procedures. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to masonry projects. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as trowels, chisels, hammers, as well as power tools including saws and drills. Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques, rebar installation, stucco application, and heavy equipment operation. Ability to perform concrete forming and renovation work with attention to detail and quality standards. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and material calculations. Strong safety awareness with experience adhering to OSHA or equivalent safety regulations. Join us in building exceptional structures that stand the test of time!
