Job Description
What We're Looking For Responsible for leading bridge inspection tasks, preparing detailed inspection reports, and ensuring compliance with project requirements and safety standards. This role includes planning and conducting field inspections, evaluating bridge conditions, and documenting findings in accordance with Client, State, and Federal standards. You will collaborate closely with the project manager to ensure all inspection data is accurately recorded and submitted on schedule. Additionally, you will assist in developing repair recommendations and collaborate with design teams on repair designs as needed. Leveraging your technical expertise, you will address design-related issues, working with the project manager to solve problems creatively, interact with clients, and ensure tasks are completed on time. You will also contribute to the development of conceptual and detailed designs, performing calculations to support project completion using current tools and software. The role may also involve mentoring and training junior engineers, reviewing their work, and providing constructive feedback. As part of the team, you will contribute to the successful delivery of a wide range of projects for HNTB's clients. What You'll Do: Responsible for the planning and distribution of discipline-specific work, and adherence to the schedule and budget on projects. Assists in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation. Assists with the development of scope of work and level of effort for projects and/or assignments within discipline. Oversees completeness and accuracy of project team's work within the technical discipline. Guides and mentors team to overall project objectives. Coordinates technical aspects of project with client counterpart and teaming partners at staff level for work within the discipline.
