GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION Operates and maintains bucket truck used for tree-trimming tasks associated with electrical power line right-of-way maintenance, clearing, and re-clearing operations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ($21.68 an hour- $27.11 an hour) Drives/operates ROW vehicles and equipment as necessary to safely and efficiently complete tasks and projects. Performs daily inspection and maintenance of chainsaws and safety equipment; must be able to safely and efficiently operate chainsaws. Performs right of way clearing duties, to include the following: bucket work, climbing work, ground clearing, cutting, chipping, piling, burning, and other disposal of brush. Cuts danger trees and has the ability to rope and direct trees away from hazards.
