Job Overview MUST HAVE RIC LICENSE-- Please Apply In person with resume and valid RIC LICENSE. 1822 Lisbon road, Lewiston, Me We are seeking a knowledgeable and personable Budtender already with an RIC License to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, educate customers about products, and ensure a welcoming shopping experience. This role requires a strong understanding of retail sales, product knowledge, and excellent communication skills. Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a diverse customer base. The Budtender will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting products, processing transactions, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor. Prior experience in retail or grocery store environments is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures. Must already have an RIC license!!!! Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance based on their needs Educate customers about product features, effects, and usage through product demos and information sharing Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Manage merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and inventory counts Upsell products by recommending additional items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales Maintain excellent phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors Ensure the sales area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards Supervise or assist in supervising junior staff or interns as needed Conduct product demos to educate customers about new or featured items Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone Proficiency with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math calculations Experience in supervising or leading team members is a plus Ability to perform retail tasks such as merchandising, stocking, and inventory management Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately Upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Bilingual communication skills to serve a diverse clientele (preferred) Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail sales environments is advantageous Excellent phone etiquette and professional appearance at all times This position offers an engaging environment where your sales expertise and customer service skills will directly contribute to a positive shopping experience.
