Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products tailored to their needs Educate customers on product features, effects, and proper usage through engaging demos and explanations Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Upsell products by highlighting new arrivals, promotions, or complementary items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product freshness and visibility Conduct product demos to demonstrate product qualities and answer customer questions confidently Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock, assisting with restocking, and recording product movements Requirements Previous retail sales experience with a focus on customer service in a fast-paced environment Commitment to support team operations and ensure excellent service standards Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions Strong communication skills that contribute to a positive and productive work community Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn through training sessions or certifications Ability to perform merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves and organizing displays efficiently Experience in grocery store or retail environments is advantageous but not required Demonstrated ability to upsell products while maintaining compliance with industry regulations Pay: From $23.00 per hour Benefits Paid time off Work Location: In person
