Job Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Marijuana Budtender to join our team who must be 21 years of age or older. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers while guiding them through their cannabis purchasing experience. Your expertise in product knowledge, retail sales, and customer service will help create a welcoming environment for all patrons. Responsibilities Assist customers in selecting cannabis products based on their needs and preferences. Provide product demonstrations and educate customers about different strains, consumption methods, and effects and also non- cannabis products plus accessories . Utilize POS systems for processing transactions, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate sales records. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and maximize sales as per customer requests and customer needs . Maintain a clean and organized display of products through effective merchandising and stocking practices. Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products. Handle cash transactions accurately while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Address customer inquiries with professionalism and provide excellent phone etiquette when necessary. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the retail environment. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred, ideally within the grocery store or cannabis industry. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers. Basic math skills for handling transactions and understanding retail math concepts. Supervising experience is a plus for those looking to take on leadership roles in the future. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse clientele.
