Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Building Automation Systems (BAS) Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with installing and servicing building automation systems, retrofit projects, control panel construction, programming, wire pulling, and field troubleshooting. This position involves working on commercial HVAC controls and automation systems in both new construction and retrofit environments. Responsibilities Install and commission building automation and HVAC control systems Perform retrofit upgrades and system replacements Build and wire control panels from schematics and drawings Pull and terminate low-voltage wiring Program and troubleshoot BAS controllers and devices Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and control drawings Perform startup, testing, and system diagnostics Work independently in the field and communicate with customers professionally Ensure projects are completed safely and on schedule Qualifications Experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS) or HVAC controls Knowledge of control wiring and electrical systems Experience building and wiring control panels Familiarity with BAS programming and troubleshooting Ability to use hand tools, meters, and basic power tools Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings Strong problem-solving and communication skills Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Preferred Experience Niagara 4, Tridium, Distech, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Siemens, or similar systems HVAC or mechanical system knowledge Experience with commissioning and startup Networking or IT experience is a plus Apply today to join a growing team in the Building Automation industry.
