Job Description
The Building Monitor will ensure the safety, security, and proper utilization during building operating hours, and remain in attendance during the scheduled events.Monitors are responsible for carrying out the duties assigned by management in association with the following broad basic tasks:1.Safety and Security 2.Observation and Documentation 3.Enforcement of Rules and Policies 4.Incident Response 5.Communication, Problem Solving, and Improvements Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain a safe and secure environment, conduct regular building inspections, and address potential risks.Monitor activities, record observations, and maintain accurate records of incidents, violations, or other relevant information.Understand and follow procedures on the 2-way radio and Banquet Event Order Contracts (BEO).Ensure compliance with established rules, procedures, and safety guidelines, and take appropriate action when violations occur.Respond to emergency situations or incidents, provide support, and coordinate with relevant personnel or agencies.Communicate effectively with management, staff, clients, vendors, and guests as it relates to identify and resolve problems, and implement improvements Check employee bags when arriving and leaving the building.Assists with checking in event staff and equipment disbursements.Other duties as assigned.Requirements:Minimum 3 years of security experience and background Flexible work schedule - days, evenings and weekends Must be able to lift 30lbs and navigate swiftly through crowds while conducting patrols and responding to emergencies.CPR / First Aid Certification (currently active) Willing to undergo a background check Reliable transportation a MUST Job Type:Part-time Pay:$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible schedule Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance Application Question(s):Do you have reliable transportation?
