Bus Attendants

Job Title Hours Per Day: Varies Work Year is 10 Months: Off during school breaks. Minimum Starting Rate: $16.00 per hour. Classification: Labor Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma or equivalency. The ability to work independently and manage time effectively. The ability to work collaboratively with peers and colleagues. The ability to carry out oral and written instructions. Displays a positive attitude and builds healthy relationships with students, staff and families. The ability to understand and follow simple oral and written instructions. The ability to work well with drivers, students, school personnel, and the Transportation Department. The ability to understand students in their care. The ability to be helpful to students and fellow workers as needed. Have good judgment. Be dependable. Have common sense in exercising control. Have patience and conscientiousness. Have the physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position. Training will be provided. Consideration of a candidate requires completion of an application.
