Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Bus Driver to join our transportation team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting students along designated routes. Duties Safely operate buses and multipurpose vehicles following all traffic laws and safety regulations Transport students along scheduled routes with punctuality and professionalism Assist students with boarding and disembarking, including children with disabilities Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and mechanical readiness Maintain clear communication with dispatchers and passengers throughout the route Manage behavior and ensure safety protocols are followed by all riders Complete all required logs, reports, and documentation accurately and promptly Skills Proven experience in bus driving, commercial driving, or similar transportation roles Strong knowledge of driving regulations and safety procedures for school bus driving, paratransit, or senior care transportation Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities Ability to work with children with patience and care Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues Outstanding customer service skills to create a welcoming environment for all riders Effective behavior management techniques to handle challenging situations calmly Writing skills for completing reports and documentation accurately Experience in teaching or childcare is beneficial for working with young passengers Join us as a Bus Driver and become an essential part of our community!
