BUS DRIVER Division: PEAK Pacific Construction, LLC Reports To: PEAK Supervisor / PEAK Manager Employment Type: Part-time Location: Various Project Sites / Company-Assigned Routes Job Summary The Bus Driver is responsible for safely operating company vehicles and transporting employees, passengers, or authorized personnel to and from designated locations in support of company operations and project requirements. This position ensures compliance with all traffic laws, company policies, and safety standards while maintaining reliable and efficient transportation services. Due to the nature of project-based operations, transportation needs may vary. Work schedules and hours are dependent on project requirements and may include early morning, evening, night, weekend, or holiday assignments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely operate company buses or other assigned vehicles to transport passengers to designated locations. Adhere to all traffic laws, company driving policies, and safety procedures. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in safe operating condition. Maintain cleanliness and overall condition of assigned vehicles. Assist passengers with safe boarding and exiting, as needed. Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatch, and other personnel regarding routes, schedules, and issues. Report accidents, incidents, delays, or mechanical concerns immediately in accordance with company procedures. Maintain accurate logs, mileage records, and inspection reports as required. Exercise sound judgment in varying road, traffic, and weather conditions. Attend required meetings, safety briefings, and training sessions. Support transportation needs across multiple projects or departments as assigned. Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times. Work Schedule and Hours This position supports project-based transportation needs. Work schedules, reporting times, routes, and total hours worked may vary based on operational requirements, manpower transportation needs, and project schedules. Employees may be required to work early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Required Skills and Qualifications Must possess and maintain a valid Class D driver’s license (or appropriate license classification required by applicable law) to operate company vehicles. Clean driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements. Ability to pass required drug and alcohol testing. Knowledge of traffic laws, safe driving practices, and vehicle operation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to adapt to changing schedules. Ability to follow instructions and assigned routes. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior driving experience preferred. Good physical condition and ability to perform job-related physical tasks. Working Conditions Work is performed primarily in vehicles and at project or jobsite locations. Requires extended periods of driving and sitting. Exposure to varying weather, road, and traffic conditions. May require flexible and extended work hours depending on project demands.
