Business Analyst (BA) Operations

Must have :- Crew Scheduling or Crew Management Domain :- Airlines Job Description BA Operations role focuses on requirements gathering, process analysis, and documentation for aviation operational modules such as Flight Operations, Crew Scheduling, and Safety. This position acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring that solutions meet operational needs and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Requirements Gathering & Analysis Conduct workshops and interviews to capture operational requirements for aviation workflows. Perform gap analysis and identify process optimization opportunities. Documentation & Standards Prepare BRDs, FSDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned with Agile practices. Maintain traceability matrices and ensure compliance with aviation standards (FAA/EASA). Stakeholder Management Collaborate with product owners, architects, and delivery teams for scope clarity. Manage change requests and perform impact analysis. Skills Required Core BA Skills Strong experience in requirements elicitation, gap analysis, and process modeling. Expertise in BRD/FSD creation, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Visio, and Azure ADO. Domain Knowledge Deep understanding of aviation operations: Crew Scheduling, Flight Ops, Safety. Familiarity with regulatory compliance (FAA/EASA) and airline industry standards Familiarity with Crew Management Systems (CMS) and airline industry standards Experience: 5 8+ years in business analysis roles. Exposure to aviation IT systems and operational workflows. Proven ability to manage requirements for large-scale aviation projects
