Job Description Your Role The Individual & Family Plans team manages the sales, distribution and performance for one of Blue Shield’s largest lines of business – providing health insurance for individuals who do not get coverage from an employer sponsored health plan, Medi-Cal or Medicare. The IFP Growth Business Analysis Consultant will report to the IFP Growth & Strategy Leadership Team. In this role you will be responsible for managing the sales performance analytics to help us understand & improve our growth strategies. Responsibilities Your Work In this role, you will: Provide highly complex analytical support through the analysis and interpretation of data in support of sales and market data while collaborating with cross-functional business operations Develop, prepare, and analyze reports with highly complex analysis and data for management review, and presents to various levels of management Leaning on data mining & predictive analytics, identify trends related to sales and retention, highlight emerging risks and opportunities - translating them into actionable insights Define business requirements and provide analysis to help build tools that increase sales efficacy, improve monitoring of sales and growth campaign performance Manage the Business-to-Business relationship for our integrated operations with certain brokerages and enrollment platforms and technologies, including ICHRA vendors. This includes being point for the on-boarding new integrated enrollment partners. Provide support to the sales organization for activities such as broker event planning, training, deployment of new tools / technologies and also assisting operations with working day-to-day reports. Build executive-level presentations and dashboards to communicate status and KPIs for growth initiatives, along with analysis & recommendations Qualifications Your Knowledge and Experience Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Requires at least 7 years of prior relevant experience Understanding of direct-to-consumer sales / marketing methodologies, KPIs and measurement best practices (health insurance related preferred) Strong proficiency in tools supporting sales analytics and performance reporting Experience deploying technologies and tools to support relevant sales process automation & analysis – such as Microsoft Copilot, Salesforce and/or SharePoint Hybrid This role requires employees to be in-office based on our hybrid workplace model, balancing purposeful in-person collaboration with flexibility. For most teams, this means coming into the office two days each week. Employees living more than 50 miles from an office location will work with their manager to determine in-office time based on business need.
