Job Description
Job Summary This pivotal role combines strategic planning and proactive outreach to establish long-lasting partnerships with key stakeholders in the maritime industry. If you are a driven professional with a passion for technical sales and business expansion, this opportunity offers a chance to significantly influence market presence and foster sustainable growth. Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to expand the company’s footprint across the U.S. marine market. Build a robust pipeline by targeting ship owners, ship managers, and marine operators. Identify, engage, and nurture relationships with key decision-makers within the maritime ecosystem. Promote the company’s range of solutions, including mooring systems, wire ropes, and related equipment, to prospective clients. Establish and maintain long-term partnerships, positioning the company as a trusted vendor of choice. Collaborate with international teams to coordinate pricing, logistics, and technical support for clients. Monitor pipeline activity, forecast sales, and track customer engagement metrics. Represent the company at industry conferences, client meetings, and site visits to build brand visibility and strengthen relationships. Requirements Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development, technical sales, or account management. Prior experience in marine, offshore, industrial, or related sectors is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and close new business opportunities. Excellent communication skills with the aptitude to articulate technical solutions effectively. Self-motivated and capable of working independently within a territory-based role. Willingness to travel as needed to support client engagement and market growth.
