We’re looking for an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive indirect sales through broker and aggregator channels across NYISO and PJM. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in the large C&I energy space and established relationships with brokers, aggregators, or channel partners. You’ll play a key role in shaping sales strategy, negotiating complex deals, and promoting sustainability-focused energy solutions that make a tangible difference. What You’ll Do Drive sales and exceed quotas for electricity products and sustainability solutions via indirect channels. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with brokers, aggregators, and channel partners. Conduct persuasive presentations and strategic negotiations that highlight the unique value of our energy solutions. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and internal teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences. Stay ahead of market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in the energy and sustainability space. Represent the company at industry events and conferences to grow networks and uncover new opportunities. Mentor and guide prospective brokers on products, services, and value propositions. What We’re Looking For Proven track record in indirect retail energy sales, especially in large C&I accounts within deregulated markets. Strong relationships with brokers and aggregators and a history of exceeding ambitious sales targets. Deep understanding of electric utility tariffs, retail energy products, PPAs, VPPA structures, and renewable energy solutions. Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Highly motivated, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Passion for sustainability, renewable energy, and ESG initiatives. Proficiency with CRM tools, sales automation platforms, and Microsoft Office.
