BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER The primary role of the Business Development Manager is to prospect for new clients by networking, contacting, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients. Responsibilities include planning persuasive approaches that will convince potential clients to do business with McGough, develop a rapport with clients, set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship. This person works with mid and senior level management, marketing and technical staff and helps direct the activities of others responsible for developing business for the company. Strategic planning is a key part of this position. QUALIFICATIONS Required Bachelor’s degree 5-10 years of related experience and demonstrated history of driving profitable company growth Knowledge of the local Architectural, Engineering or Construction (AEC) Industry Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills Strong verbal and written communication, coaching and presentation skills Good interpersonal abilities Preferred Minimum five to ten years of experience with at least two years in the Architectural, Engineering or Construction (AEC) industry CRM experience Adobe Creative Suites skills Office and Travel <
