Job DescriptionJob Description We’re Hiring an Agronomist! Join a Fast-Growing Team Supporting Midwest Farmers. Are you passionate about agriculture, problem-solving, and making a real impact on the sustainability of family farms? We’re looking for a high-energy, mission-driven individual to help independent producers across the Midwest optimize their nutrient management and environmental compliance. What You’ll Do Develop and manage Nutrient Management Plans Support farmers with soil fertility, manure value, and sustainable practices Maintain environmental and regulatory compliance documentation Build strong relationships through on-farm visits and hands-on support Help producers explore new conservation-driven revenue opportunities Conduct on-site surveys, verify accurate implementation of Nutrient Management Plans Analyze the fertilizer value of applied manure and recommend appropriate utilization strategies Manage soil testing schedules, interpret results, support fertility recommendations for producers Track manure application activities and provide timely, data-based recommendations. What We’re Looking For A degree in Agronomy, Soil & Crop Science, Animal Science, Ag Engineering—or similar Strong agronomic knowledge and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and relationship-building Willingness to travel throughout the Midwest (day trips + occasional overnights) Make an impact.
