Business Development Representative Location: In-Office, Downtown Safford Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (minimum 20 hours per week) Compensation: $17 - $20/hr + Commission Reports to: National Sales Manager About Furniture Services Company Furniture Services Company has been restoring and refinishing hotel furniture across the United States since 1988. We specialize in on-site wood restoration, upholstery, and furniture modifications, helping hotels extend the life of their case goods while maintaining high guest satisfaction. Our clients include all major hotel brands like Hilton, Marriott and IHG, as well as independent properties. About the Role We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Development Representative to help grow our client base through outbound sales outreach. This role involves making cold calls to hotels across the country, following up on warm leads, and supporting our sales team’s efforts to secure new business. Key Responsibilities Make outbound cold calls to hotels using provided call lists Identify and engage hotel decision-makers (e.g., GMs, engineering, procurement) Follow up on warm leads from marketing efforts and inbound requests Maintain accurate and organized notes for each outreach attempt Update and correct contact data as needed (hotel name, personnel, phone numbers, etc.) Track your hours weekly and submit timesheets for review and approval Share hot leads and information requests with internal team Participate in weekly team meetings All work performed onsite at our Safford office Qualifications Strong and professional phone presence Comfortable making cold calls and handling rejection Agressive, but personable approach to making sales Organized, disciplined, and self-directed Detail-oriented with strong written communication for notes and updates Prior sales or hospitality experience preferred but not required Compensation & Reimbursement Hourly Rate: $17 - $20/hour Commission Structure (for leads personally generated through cold calls) : 2% on qualified wood restoration projects (up to $2,000 per job) 0.5% on non-wood restoration projects (up to $2,000 per job) NO CAP on commission Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits Flexible schedule Experience: Sales: 3 years (Required) Language: English (Required) Ability to Commute: Safford, AZ 85546 (Required) Work Location: In person
