Position Overwiew The Business Development Representative will focus on developing partnerships with apartment complexes, storage facilities, real estate offices, and local businesses. Prospect and generate new leads through research, outreach, and networking efforts to expand the customer base Engage with potential clients via calls, emails, and meetings to understand their needs and present tailored solutions. Follow-up with potential clients when and if needed Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that attract new business opportunities Utilize Excel to track interactions Develop strategic plans for account growth and retention, ensuring long-term customer satisfaction and loyalty We will provide an initial outreach route and target list, but we expect initiative in identifying and developing new opportunities Distribute marketing materials (flyers, business cards, signage, etc.) Monitor marketing materials and request replenishment as needed Participation in a weekly professional networking meeting (currently Wednesdays, 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM) is part of the outreach strategy and relationship-building process. Additional preparation or follow-up tasks related to networking may be assigned. Maintain professional communication and brand representation in the community Track outreach activity and report weekly progress Skills Proven experience in sales, business development, or a related field with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets Effective communication skills for engaging diverse audiences and building lasting relationships Knowledge of marketing principles to support outreach campaigns and brand positioning Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills Familiarity with project management tools and customer relationship management practices to streamline workflows. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required Self-motivated and able to work independently Compensation: Base Pay: $50–$300 per week (activity/territory support stipend) Commission Structure: $2 per qualified lead, $5–$10 per completed booked job & $20 per completed commercial job Additional Incentives: Bonuses may be offered for high-performing outreach or major partnerships Contractor Status: This is a 1099 independent contractor position: Contractor controls schedule and method of work No employee benefits are provided Contractor is responsible for taxes and expenses Compensation is based on performance and completed results Embark on a rewarding journey where your proactive spirit fuels growth!
