Position Summary The Business Development Representative is responsible for understanding the current Pilot Water Solutions portfolio and maximizing commercial development opportunities for value growth. This individual understands the Company infrastructure and positions of customers for partnering growth strategies. Level and compensation commensurate with experience. The position is in Houston, Texas and reports to the VP Business Development. Pilot Water Solutions (“PWS”) is the most reliable name in water midstream. PWS is a full service, full life cycle water midstream company with assets across the Permian, Eagle Ford, Rockies, Haynesville, and Appalachia. With strategically located assets in the core of its basins, Pilot Water Solutions is positioned to meet the needs of its customers with best-in-class service and reliability. Essential Job Requirements Originates, develops, negotiates, and executes new opportunities while maintaining and optimizing existing commercial portfolio Manages and expands business contacts through regular engagement with existing and future customers Identifies new customers and business opportunities Knowledge and understanding of contractual terms and conditions Understands economic valuation and return on investment Develops and has extensive working knowledge of company’s assets and contracts Manages proposal development, financial analysis, and contract negotiations Creates and delivers presentations that articulate new opportunities to colleagues, management, and/or customers Analyzes market activity and actively participates in industry engagements for new opportunities Collaborates with Engineering, Operations, and Land to identify and execute on expansion opportunities. Communicates effectively and work closely with other groups within the organization including Engineering, Operations, Legal, Accounting, Planning, Corporate Development, etc. Adheres to company policies and compliance. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, comparable degree, or relevant years of experience. 3 years relevant oil, gas and water experience. Prior experience in produced water, oil or gas midstream industry, commercial/business development, marketing, or engineering. Strong analytical, financial and economic evaluation skills Strong understanding of contractual terms, conditions and execution of negotiations skills. Proactive problem-solver with strong critical and analytic skills. Ability to plan for and accomplish team goals and deadlines. Strong collaborative, communication and organization skills. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and systems. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly expanding environment. Positive influence on work performance and culture. Able to travel as needed Preferred Qualifications Midstream experience 5 years oil and gas midstream experience working within a commercial / business development group. Scheduler/analyst experience in oil and gas marketing Water midstream experience Exposure or knowledge in long-term contracts with E&P producers for pipeline systems Physical Requirements Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time and work on a computer. Must be able to lift a minimum of 15 lbs. on occasion to archive documents as needed. Required to speak frequently. Requires fine manipulation by hand for typing purposes.
