Our client, Berkowsky and Associates, Inc. , is looking for a proactive, relationship-driven Business Development Specialist to help support and grow client relationships within the architecture, engineering, and construction industry. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys networking, developing partnerships, supporting proposals, creating engaging marketing content, and staying organized while managing multiple priorities. This is not a transactional sales role. Approximately 90% of the company’s business comes from repeat clients, making relationship building, communication, and professionalism key to success in this position. You will play an important role in representing the company externally, supporting proposal efforts, maintaining Salesforce activity, and helping drive continued growth and visibility in the marketplace. Based in Cranbury, NJ, this role works closely with company leadership. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate and timely Salesforce CRM updates, including leads and client activity Prepare information and reporting for weekly leadership and all-hands meetings Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients within the architecture, engineering, and construction industry Conduct introductory meetings and presentations with prospective clients, clearly communicating the company’s services, capabilities, and overall value proposition Partner closely with leadership to support business development initiatives and relationship management efforts Assist with proposal writing, editing, development, and coordination for client-facing opportunities Develop creative and professional marketing materials, LinkedIn content, newsletters, and other client-facing communications to support company visibility and branding efforts Represent the company professionally at networking events, industry functions, meetings, and client engagements Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience Experience within the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry is a major plus 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, marketing coordination, client relationship management, or related professional services experience Experience using CRM systems (ex.
