**JOB TITLE: Business Intelligence Developer LOCATION: Houston, TX (Hybrid; Monday-Thursday in the office and remote on Fridays) PAY RANGE: $46 - $50/hr. DURATION: 7 Months** TOP 3 SKILLS: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or High School Diploma/GED with at least four years of relevant experience, plus a minimum of three years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related role Hands-on experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI, along with building automation and business solutions using Power Automate and Power Apps Strong ability to analyze complex business problems, translate data into actionable insights, and communicate recommendations effectively to influence stakeholders and drive process improvements Company: Our client is a Fortune 500 industry leader in sustainable waste management, recycling, and environmental services headquartered in Houston, TX. Job Summary: Under general supervision, transforms data into insights that drive business value using Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and other analytics products. Performs process improvement, business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefit analyses. Acts as a Subject Matter Expert, data steward, and technical expert for Supply Chain. Undertakes projects requiring specialized business knowledge and decision-making that will influence others across the company to adopt newly re-engineered processes into Waste Management business units. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the assigned essential duties satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned, and duties may vary by department. Develops tools using Power BI, prepares actionable reports, data summaries, changes, and trends for use by management. Provides assessment and recommendations to management by getting stakeholders' buy-in. Develops apps using PowerApps to improve and automate processes. Works with management and team leaders by contributing strategic vision and integrating a broad range of ideas regarding business intelligence development. Analyzes while considering the business implications to the current and future business environment. Assists with deliverables, cost, schedule, and quality of one or more enterprise solutions projects. Reviews progress and evaluates results for accuracy and efficiency. Works with partners to resolve problems, respond to suggestions for improvement and enhancements, test, refine, and institutionalize solutions. Drives the project(s) and the organization toward achieving business results. Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory duties. Education and Experience: Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited), or in lieu of a degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience. Experience: Three (3) years of relevant experience (in addition to the education requirement). Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, or Other Requirements: Preferred: PMI Certification.
