Business Office Manager/Payroll Clerk Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Office Manager to direct the overall Business Office activities at Grand Oaks Assisted Living in Tulare, California. As a key member of our team, you will ensure that all business office tasks are completed accurately and on schedule, while maintaining compliance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Principal Responsibilities: Follows the daily task list, weekly task list, and month-end close checklist to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner Ensures completion of the Daily Census Verification process to maintain accurate resident records Accurately records all room, ancillary, and miscellaneous charges in PCC Manages private pay billing and coordinates with the Centralized Statement process Ensure Payroll is completed timely and accurately in order to create a smooth payroll process Assist with A/R and A/P processes Performs other duties, responsibilities, and activities as assigned Qualifications: High school diploma required Associates degree in Business or Accounting, or equivalent experience in business office operations in long-term care or healthcare, preferred Effective communication skills to maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, physicians, consultants, and government agencies Current knowledge of local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations Maintains a neat, well-groomed, and professional appearance Additional Requirements: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve billing and accounting issues Familiarity with electronic medical records and billing software Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive resident information How to Apply: If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new career opportunity, please submit your application to join our team.
