Job Description
Imagin BPM Consulting is seeking an experienced Business Process Analyst for a 6-month contract engagement beginning July 2026. This is a remote, part-time role requiring approximately 20-25 hours per week. About the Engagement You will serve as the lead process analyst on a business process mapping initiative for a large university foundation, working directly with stakeholders across constituent management, gift lifecycle, and financial reconciliation workflows. What You'll Do Facilitate live process modeling sessions via Microsoft Teams with groups of 6-8 subject matter experts Build swimlane process models in real time on screen during sessions using Microsoft Visio Ask targeted questions to draw out current-state workflows, identify process variations, and surface inefficiencies and improvement opportunities Apply BPMN 2.0 standards to all process models post-session — ensuring clean task attribution, proper gateway labeling, and professional presentation quality Work alongside a junior analyst who will support sessions with note-taking and follow-up questions Deliver polished, presentation-ready models and workflow narratives ready for stakeholder review What We're Looking For 5+ years of business process mapping or business analysis experience Demonstrated ability to facilitate working sessions with multiple stakeholders Proficiency in Microsoft Visio Working knowledge of BPMN 2.0 notation Strong communicator — comfortable commanding a virtual room Self-directed and proactive — able to keep work moving without close supervision Experience in financial services, healthcare, higher education, or nonprofit environments is a plus Engagement Details Remote — all sessions via Microsoft Teams Part-time contract — approximately 20 hours per week 6-month term — July through December 2026
