Business Systems Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in the finance and insurance industry, is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join their team. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be part of the Finance Modernization & Data team supporting various financial operations and data initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Business Systems Analyst Location: Westfield Center, Ohio Pay Range: $55 What's the Job? Partner with business stakeholders across finance, accounting, treasury, actuarial, and audit to understand and improve core financial processes. Translate business needs into clear system requirements, facilitating effective communication between finance teams and technology partners. Define and manage financial data requirements, including reporting, analytics, and system integrations. Document, validate, and analyze functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring alignment and clarity among all parties. Support the development of features and solutions that enhance financial systems and data management capabilities. What's Needed? Experience in finance operations and data, preferably within global Property & Casualty Insurance. Strong communication and facilitation skills for technical and non-technical audiences. Proficiency with Agile methodologies, Jira, and backlog management tools. Familiarity with data platforms such as Snowflake, ETL pipelines, and cloud infrastructure. Ability to work collaboratively across teams, including vendors and offshore partners. What's in it for me
