This person is responsible for ensuring that business needs, related to those systems, are clearly understood, documented, and met. The Business Systems Analyst will work closely with business system users, subject matter experts, and technical resources to support business requirement efforts, document functional requirements and design specifications and support development and testing efforts. What You'll Do Elicit, analyze, and validate business needs from stakeholders. Facilitate stakeholder meetings and presentations to ensure accurate interpretation of requirements. Create clear, complete, and traceable documentation for requirements and design. Manage and track requirements throughout the project lifecycle, updating as necessary. Conduct internal and external research to gain a better understanding of the project's subject area. Provide WAM/Maximo end-user support by troubleshooting incidents, analyzing root cause, documenting fixes/workarounds and escalating defects or integration issues to the technical team. Monitor, troubleshoot, and help resolve WAM/Maximo integration errors and support security audits by reviewing access and roles/security groups. Coordinate WAM/Maximo system enhancements by creating required documentation, defining configuration requirements, developing and executing test plans and partnering with the development team to deploy changes through the environments with minimal business disruption. Education A bachelor's degree relevant to the assignment from an accredited institution is preferred. Experience Level 2 – Journey: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required. In lieu of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling 6 years may be considered. WAM/Maximo experience is preferred. Additional Requirements and Qualifications Excellent analytical, documentation and communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to understand technical concepts and detailed business processes. Strong listening and collaboration skills. Ability to lead process improvement initiatives and manage complex projects.
