The property boasts 14,000+ square feet of flexible meeting and event space, including a ballroom and impressive and flexible green atrium space, with waterfall, and soaring 40ft skylight -lined ceiling for large events. Job Overview The Business Travel Sales Manager is responsible for effectively becoming familiar with, and selling, all accounts in their market segments. They are also responsible for prospecting and closing on assigned accounts/territory to positively impact hotel revenues. Responsibilities Develop a full working knowledge of the operations of the hotel, including Food and Beverage, Guest Services and Reservations. Develop a complete knowledge of company sales policies and SOP’s, ensure knowledge of, and adherence to, those policies by, and within, the sales team. Develop Hilton brand standard and policy knowledge, and adhere to those standards and policies. Conduct outside sales calls 2-3 days per week in both new and existing account business development. Meet or exceed set goals and report daily, weekly, monthy production on time. Operate within the Sales department established sales expense budget. Initiate and follow up on all leads. Enter all lead and follow up information in CRM system. Create, maintain, and participate in an active sales solicitation programs. Monitor production of all top accounts, evaluate and report trends and updates within your market. Regularly contact existing accounts based on the tracing frequencies of the agreed account coverage and build and maintain relationships. Meet or exceed sales solicitation call goals as assigned by the Director of Sales. Invite clients to the hotel for social gatherings, entertainment, lunches, dinners, tours and site inspections. Create and assist in implementing special promotions relating to direct sales segments, i.e. after work hour socials, sales blitzes, etc. Be familiar with all InnVentures sales policies and selling techniques with an emphasis on maximizing occupancy and Average Daily Rate (ADR). Conduct a professional, thorough site inspection of the hotel with clients, exhibiting key features and benefits of the property. Use your property’s computerized sales management system to manage the hotel’s business, including (but not limited to) generating reports, entering business, blocking space and building accounts. Meet and greet onsite contacts. Be knowledgable of Delphi/Salesforce, Hilton PEP, R & I and Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Sharepoint and Teams. Develop networking opportunities through active participation in community and professional associations, activities and events. Qualifications College degree or course work in related field preferred. Minimum 2 years sales experience in a hotel or a related field preferred. Business travel sales experience and hotel market knowledge preferred. High School diploma or equivalent required. Must be skilled in Windows, Company approved spreadsheets and word processing.
