Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately while maintaining a high standard of service. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff. Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner. Assist with bussing tables and cleaning dining areas to ensure a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure accurate order delivery and address any special requests or dietary restrictions. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to effectively communicate with guests. Ensure that all food handling and safety standards are adhered to at all times. Assist in catering events as needed, providing exceptional service to guests. Support the overall cleanliness of the restaurant, including dishware, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, with a focus on restaurant or hotel environments. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations within the food industry. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in cleaning, bussing, serving, or other related roles is highly valued.
