Overview The Bussing position plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for guests. As a Bussing team member, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within the dining area, assisting servers, and providing excellent customer service. Duties Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave to prepare for new diners. Assist servers by refilling drinks, delivering food items, and providing additional support as needed. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping and mopping floors when necessary. Help set up dining areas for special events or large parties, ensuring all items are properly arranged. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a seamless flow of service. Adhere to health and safety regulations while handling food and maintaining cleanliness standards. Skills Strong customer service skills to enhance guest satisfaction and experience. Ability to communicate effectively with both guests and team members in a fast-paced environment. Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Knowledge of bussing techniques and practices within the food industry is a plus. Capability to work collaboratively in a kitchen or dining setting while helping others succeed. Flexibility to adapt to various tasks related to catering or hotel services as needed.
