Fountain Valley / Tustin Area, CA Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire $25–$31/hour (DOE) | :$52K–$64K upon conversion Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Position Overview We are seeking a Bilingual in Mandarin detail-oriented Buyer / Purchasing Assistant to join a growing manufacturing organization (hydraulics industry). This role will support purchasing operations, vendor communications, and inventory coordination while working closely with both domestic and international suppliers. Bilingual Mandarin is REQUIRED to communicate with overseas manufacturing partners. Key Responsibilities Communicate regularly with international manufacturing partners (Mandarin required) Process and manage purchase orders (POs) within ERP/MRP systems Coordinate with suppliers regarding pricing, order confirmations, and delivery schedules Monitor open POs to ensure on-time delivery and avoid shortages Review inventory levels and assist with forecasting material needs Request quotes and support cost comparisons and vendor selection Collaborate with planning, warehouse, and production teams to resolve issues Maintain vendor records and assist with supplier performance tracking Support reporting, data entry, and general purchasing operations Qualifications 1–3+ years of purchasing, procurement, or administrative experience (manufacturing preferred) Bilingual Mandarin (required) Experience With ERP/MRP Systems (Oracle, JobBoss, Or Similar Preferred) Strong Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word skills Excellent organization, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred Why Join?
