Job SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and energetic C-Store Manager to lead our convenience store operations with enthusiasm and a customer satisfaction first mindset.In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily store activities, manage staff, ensure excellent customer service, and drive sales growth.Your leadership will foster a positive team environment, optimize store performance, and uphold high standards of safety, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.If you thrive in a fast-paced retail setting and possess strong management skills, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact while advancing your career.The C-Store Manager oversees daily operations, ensures compliance with company standards, and leads the team to achieve performance goals.Responsibilities include staff leadership, financial accuracy, inventory control, and maintaining a safe, clean, and customer-focused environment.General Responsibilities Work Schedule & Expectations:Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.with a 1-hour unpaid break; responsible for covering or coordinating coverage for absent staff.Workload:Typically 40-45 hours per week, with the expectation to complete all operational needs as required.Compensation Structure:Hourly pay, weekend on-call incentive, and KPI-based performance bonus.Store Operations:Open the store, manage shift schedules, and ensure all policies and procedures are followed.Staff Management:Lead hiring, corrective actions, and terminations in partnership with Human Resources.Compliance & Safety:Maintain food safety standards and ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements.Vendor & Product Management:Oversee vendor relationships, product placement, and invoice accuracy.Communication:Maintain consistent communication with ownership regarding operations, issues, and performance.Operational Oversight:Monitor pumps, meter readings, and fuel/bait/propane volume trends.Financial Awareness:Maintain awareness of P&L components including sales, margin, shrink, labor, and waste.Team Leadership:Conduct regular staff meetings, implement incentive programs, and ensure training supports store goals.Pricing Strategy:Use industry data and competitive surveys to set pricing.Bookkeeping Responsibilities Sales Data Entry:Enter daily sales information into company systems.Cash & Banking:Perform daily ATM checks, change bag counts, deposits, and reconcile shift reports.Documentation:File charge tickets, manage delivery dispatching, and maintain daily bulk pricing updates.Inventory Reporting:Complete daily, monthly, and annual inventory processes.Cash Handling (Support to Assistant Manager) Register Procedures:Enforce all cash-handling policies and ensure staff are trained accordingly.Lottery Compliance:Employees may not purchase or play lottery products while on duty.Charge Account Controls:Enforce authorization requirements; no open charges permitted.Cash Controls:Maintain maximum cash-in-drawer limits and ensure timely safe drops.Petty Cash:Verify petty cash at each shift change.Shift Balancing:Ensure each cashier balances their drawer; excessive variances may result in corrective action.Inventory Control KPI Performance:Achieve company targets for labor, shrink, food waste (.
