Barnick Wood Design is a custom woodworking and cabinetry company focused on high-quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and professional installation services. We are looking for a skilled and dependable Custom Cabinet Installer to join our team. Position Summary The Custom Cabinet Installer is responsible for installing custom cabinetry, trim, hardware, and related millwork at job sites. The ideal candidate has strong finish carpentry skills, experience reading plans, and takes pride in clean, precise work. Responsibilities Install custom cabinetry, built-ins, panels, trim, and millwork Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and installation plans Ensure cabinets are level, plumb, and properly aligned Install hardware, fillers, crown molding, toe kicks, and accessories Communicate professionally with project managers, contractors, and homeowners Maintain clean and organized job sites Identify and resolve installation issues in the field Follow company safety procedures and quality standards Qualifications 3+ years of cabinet installation experience required, 5+ preferred Ability to read shop drawings and construction plans Experience using hand and power tools safely Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to lift and move heavy cabinetry and materials Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Professional attitude and strong work ethic Preferred Skills Experience with high-end residential projects Knowledge of trim carpentry and woodworking techniques Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience with punch lists and final adjustments Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour Work Location: In person
